BIPS REPLACES SICK KATS IN 2010 BASH
A few days back, Asia’s sexiest woman Bollywood’s delicate darling Katrina Kaif had bagged an Rs 20 million deal for shaking a leg on the New Year’s Eve. Reportedly the actress won’t be able to perform this time due to her ill health. Katrina has bad health and has been advised to refrain from any form of tiring activity for the next few weeks. So, the actress had to cancel several commitments including her New Year bash, which apparently would have involved extensive physical strain. Kat says it is with great regret that she has to opt out of performing this New Year’s Eve due to health reasons. Now, the organizers have replaced Kats with an equally hot damsel of Bollywood Bipasha Basu to perform the bash. This super-fit dusky charmer would be richer since this would fetch her a hefty fee though it is still to be revealed. In any case, Bips wouldn’t have accepted the offer unless it’s a big deal. So, Bips would be seen tantalizing her fans through a seductive dance show on the eventful evening of 31st December 2009.

A DIRECTOR'S MOVIE!
This Friday is rather thin as far as the release of Bollywood movies is concerned. Two Hindi movies releasing today are hardly talked about while Hollywood has brought a mega movie titled 'Avataar', an action movie of Titanic director James Cameroon. Among Bollybood movies are 'Assema' and 'World Cup 2011'. Being a big budget movie, there is a craze among owners for screening Hollywood's 'Avataar' in their theaters. As a result, almost all good theaters in the Capital and neighboring areas have been exhibiting the Hollywood movie. So, it's difficult to trace a theater to watch these movies inside the city. 'Aseema - Beyond Boundaries' is KJ Dream's maiden project. The movie is based on famous Oriya novel 'Aseema' written by the noted Oriya poet and novelist Sailaja Kumari Aparajita Mohanty.

KAT OUT OF HOSPITAL
Actress Katrina Kaif who was admitted for a day at Breach Candy Hospital was discharged after she underwent a surgical procedure due to low hemoglobin level. Katrina who delivered a string of hits like 'New York', and 'Ajab Prem ki Gajab Kahani' in 2009 had suffered from jaundice a couple of weeks ago. Kat is completely fine now and takes bed rest at home after which she will take off for her annual Christmas break. In the meantime, the actress had to cancel several of her engagements earlier committed by her. Meanwhile the sources close to the actress have denied all reports of her love with Ranbir Kapoor following the latter's break up with his long standing girl friend Deepika Padukone. She is confused over the reports of exchange of text messages and gifts, constant phone calls and her visits to the Kapoor house. In fact, she has termed all such reports as rubbish. The buzz is that the two bonded instantly when they first met on the sets of their 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' last year, and later on the sets of Prakash Jha's 'Rajneeti'. Now both are reportedly fond of each other. The buzz is that Ranbir isn't even concealing his newfound love for Kat, and the latter too has moved on from Salman. Besides, the Kapoor scion has been worried about his new girl's recent illness and has told her to take it easy. Forget gifting her something like a pendant, Ranbir hasn't even checked on her health ever since she fell sick, according to Kats' friends.

HRITHIK COMPARED WITH BIG B
Though Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for his fiery temper on the set, but recently he surprised everyone by revealing his other side. He was surprised when Hrithik Roshan delivered a five-minute long monologue during the shooting of ‘Guzaarish’.The director then got up from his chair and congratulated the star for his brilliant performance. He even compared Hrithik to megastar Amitabh Bachchan. ‘ANARKALI’ IS NO MORE Legendary actress Bina Rai, who charmed audiences with her performances in ‘Anarkali’ and ‘Taj Mahal’ and won a Filmfare award for ‘Ghunghat’, died of a heart attack in her Mumbai home on December 6, 2009.
